CELCAT actively promotes two types of partnership with vendors, Operational and Technical.
Operational partners are commonly specialist companies that represent CELCAT in an overseas market. Often operational partners are already working within the education sector and may be marketing their own applications and systems. This type of partner is responsible for marketing and selling CELCAT solutions along with the provision of professional services such as first line technical support, training and consultancy.
Technical partners are normally software companies producing software for colleges and universities. As CELCAT’s ethos is to allow clients to use ‘best in breed’ software it is vital that clients can integrate existing solutions with CELCAT software. For example, this type of partnership has led to integrating fixed card readers with CELCAT’s Attendance solution.
Technical partners are provided access to CELCAT’s range of integration tools and APIs along with supporting technical documentation. These relationships are enhanced by providing access to CELCAT’s technical team and integration consultants.
