Do you use the CELCAT Room Advisor feature? Perhaps you find it never seems to return any available or suitable rooms for recurring events?

It could be that you simply need to change the default setting ‘Find only rooms available for all selected weeks’ to ‘Automatically find partially available rooms when none are fully available’.

You should find this will give you better results.

What’s nice too about this hidden gem of a feature is that it will automatically recommend a ‘best fit’ option of room to week.

Of course, for the sake of consistency, I’m sure we’d all like the same room each week, but when that’s not possible it’s good to know you’ve got other options. Plus, this feature of Room Advisor has the added benefit of improving your room utilisation as well!
