I’m frequently reminded that when it comes to presenting statistics, particularly to senior management who are often only interested in the bottom line, simplicity is key which is probably why summary dashboards are so popular these days.

We’ve applied this rule to a recent enhancement in CELCAT Office Wizard. Now, users can see the difference between timetabled hours and target hours expressed as a percentage.

Office Wizard has always shown timetabled hours and target hours separately anyway, but this simple but effective enhancement means that at least I no longer have to struggle with the mental arithmetic!
