After a rigorous tender process, North-West University (NWU) has appointed CELCAT and its partner, Adapt IT Education, to supply and implement CELCAT Timetabler for course and assessment scheduling.
With a student population of approximately 56,000, NWU comprises of eight faculties on three campuses which are spread across two provinces in South Africa.
We look forward to working with NWU to achieve their strategic goal of having a modern timetabling system which, through scheduling and optimising the utilisation of their resources, will support the university’s student lifecycle management.
The solution will deliver a centralised timetabling system to create and maintain timetables for lectures and assessments across all three of their campuses.
NWU joins the 14 universities in RSA, two institutions in Botswana, and 3 in Namibia, that are currently using CELCAT Timetabler software.
