The results of the 2017 Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) have been published. TEF awards Universities and Higher Education Organisation’s Gold, Silver and Bronze ratings based on the quality of teaching at the institution.
TEF is a government-backed assessment of undergraduate teaching quality across Higher Education in England, Scotland and Wales. Of the 134 institutions graded, 45 received the highest rating; Gold, 67 institutions were awarded Silver and 25 the lowest rating; Bronze.
