Ian originally joined CELCAT’s Technical Support team in 2003 before transitioning to Account Manager after just two years.
In 2005, shortly after the departmental change and to better assist with the growing client-base, Ian relocated to Scotland.
Ian ensures existing clients are getting the most out of our products through customer care visits. Amongst other tasks, he responds to tenders, attends and exhibits at industry events, arranges software demos and provides consultancy and training.
Ian likes how varied his role is. He particularly enjoys meeting face-to-face with clients and sharing useful tips to help them perform their daily tasks. He values every one of his customers and hopes he is viewed as an extension to their teams.
When Ian was 15, he trialled as goalkeeper for the Coventry Schools football team. Sadly, he wasn’t selected, but he did get to save a penalty in the 80th minute of the Coventry schools’ cup final, ensuring they got to share the winning trophy!
In his spare time, Ian likes to play squash and go walking in the Scottish hills.
